for stories of an adult nature or with adult content would it be recommended to label them as such or not? i know this site is available to all ages and i am wondering if i labeled a story as having adult content if it would have the opposite effect of the intent...meaning drawing more young readers due to the label...the reason i ask is that i just posted a story, 'ignorance', that has some content inappropriate for youngsters and i debated whether or not to label it as such...any opinions are welcome and appreciated...

Good question, i think there is no need to give it a warning, if no one makes a deal out of it, the reader will be mature about it and read it as an integral part of the narration.

I'm glad on your story, you didnt give a warning, for me it seems sometimes people use em as a selling point. Like a cheap nasty neon sign promising something.
